68 Billboards on Crossing Bridge Are Illegal

Tens of illegal billboards that put on the crossing bridge in some locations will be controlled in the near future. From the inventory results, only seven are legal.

Then 75 points of crossing bridge are responsibility of Jakarta Provincial Government, where 7 points are legal and the rest of 68 other points are illegal

Jakarta Transportation Dept Head, Andri Yansyah disclosed, after being inventoried, there are 95 crossing bridges having the billboard. Then 20 out of them belong to Jasa Marga.

"Then 75 points of crossing bridge are responsibility of Jakarta Provincial Government, where 7 points are legal and the rest of 68 other points are illegal," he told, Thursday (9/29).

Especially for billboards belong to Jasa Marga, his dept will send explanation letter and conduct feasibility study of construction. As for seven others, he will also send the same letter to PTSP, BPKAD and spatial planning to see its construction whether it is according to permit or not.

"We focus on 68 points and we'll open a meeting on Monday (10/3). And controlling will be done on Tuesday (10/4) or Wednesday (10/5) by involving related unit," he expressed.

He is optimistic controlling against 68 illegal billboards could be finished this year. Perhaps, it would be done at night due to traffic factor.
